During the monsoon, river crossings and forest routes can become particularly challenging due to heavy rainfall and changing water levels. Because of the difficult terrain and river crossings, regular cars may not be suitable for the final stretch of the journey. Local jeeps may be required for accessing some of the more difficult sections, depending on the current road, river, and weather conditions.
